Gowan BBQ

The boys on Gowan Terrace invited us all over for a BBQ as it was warm and sunny and they have a really nice outside area which they've kitted out with sofas and rugs salvaged from all over Newcastle. It was really fun to get to know them all a little better and relax in the sun for a bit.

We made up some pimms and drank together as the sun set... and then the games began. We were taught 'The Cereal Box Game' which basically is a game where you have to try and pick up a cereal box off the ground with your mouth using only two limbs... every one has a go, and then those that managed to do it make it through to the next round. Each round, the box gets ripped lower and lower so that it end up as just a flat piece of cardboard on the floor. I managed to make it all the way to the final round and no one won in the end because there were 4 of us that still could do it! I was amazed at myself as I am so unflexible... I can't even touch my toes.

After that it had got a bit cold so we all moved inside and had a few more drinks. I had too much work on and was exhausted after Shindig so I went home early, but the other's all stayed and went out in the end. Things got a bit rowdy I think and Cornish and Harry kept snapchatting me really awful puns....
